Charity is highly valued in Islam, as the Quran teaches that those who give to charity with sincerity will have their good deeds multiplied many times over (Quran 2:261). The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) also emphasized the importance of giving to others and seeking Allah's pleasure through charity, as recorded in Sahih Muslim: "Charity does not decrease wealth, no one forgives another except that Allah increases his honor, and no one humbles himself for the sake of Allah except that Allah raises his status." By giving generously and helping those in need, Muslims can earn a reward in this life and the hereafter.
